Awning windows adopt a top-hinged rotating structure combined with a gear transmission system to achieve opening and closing operations:

 

Operating Principle: Rotating the crank handle drives the worm gear mechanism, which causes the bottom of the sash to open outward. The movement process is smooth and controllable, and the opening angle can be steplessly adjusted within the range of 10°–45°.

 

  • Rainproof Structure: In the open state, the sash forms an inclined “awning” structure, which can guide rainwater to the outside of the window opening; in the closed state, the EPDM sealing gasket fits tightly with the window frame, forming a reliable airtight and watertight seal.

 

  • Safety Design: Built-in angle limiting device restricts the maximum opening angle to 45°, reducing the risk of damage caused by strong wind loads; the crank handle can be locked in a specific position, effectively restricting opening from the outdoor side.
